Mincemeat & cheese snack pops

Snacking on cheese straight out of the fridge? That's for amateurs. Snack pros opt for minced meat & cheese snack pops made with «Der scharfe Maxx»!

Ingredients

makes 20 snack pops
20 snack pops «Der scharfe Maxx» (scooped out with a melon baller)
600 g mincemeat
1 tsp. mint
1 tsp. coriander
1 tbsp runny honey
2 finely diced garlic cloves
1 cm grated ginger
freshly ground salt and pepper
20 wooden skewers (important: place the wooden skewers in cold water)

Preparation

  1. Place the minced meat in a bowl with all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.

    Knead the mixture well by hand until the ingredients form a compact mixture.

    With moistened hands, mold the mixture to form around 20 small, round burgers.

    Place a ball of Maxx onto every burger and wrap the burger meat around the cheese to form a ball with the cheese inside.

    Spear the finished snack pops onto skewers and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees (turn after 10 minutes).
