Mincemeat & cheese snack pops
Snacking on cheese straight out of the fridge? That's for amateurs. Snack pros opt for minced meat & cheese snack pops made with «Der scharfe Maxx»!
Ingredients
makes 20 snack pops20 | snack pops «Der scharfe Maxx» (scooped out with a melon baller) |
600 g | mincemeat |
1 tsp. | mint |
1 tsp. | coriander |
1 tbsp | runny honey |
2 | finely diced garlic cloves |
1 cm | grated ginger |
freshly ground salt and pepper | |
20 | wooden skewers (important: place the wooden skewers in cold water) |
Preparation

Place the minced meat in a bowl with all the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
Knead the mixture well by hand until the ingredients form a compact mixture.
With moistened hands, mold the mixture to form around 20 small, round burgers.
Place a ball of Maxx onto every burger and wrap the burger meat around the cheese to form a ball with the cheese inside.
Spear the finished snack pops onto skewers and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees (turn after 10 minutes).
