Jamaica burger
The Jamaica burger featuring «Der scharfe Maxx». Tastes best in the sunshine with some full-on reggae beats.

600 g | minced beef |
1.5 tsp. | salt |
1 tsp. | freshly ground pepper |

80 g | gherkins |
80 g | fresh mango |
80 g | mayonnaise |
30 g | mustard |
1 | garlic clove |

8 | slices bacon |
1 | red onion |
a few salad leaves | |
4 | burger buns |
Preparation

Place the mincemeat in a bowl with salt and pepper and knead well. Form the mixture into four burgers (approx. 2cm thick).
Dice the pickles and mango finely, mix with mayonnaise and mustard, and squeeze in the garlic. Then season with salt and pepper.
Slice the onions into rings.
Fry the bacon in a frying pan for around 2 minutes until crispy and place on kitchen paper to absorb the excess liquid.
In the same pan, place the sliced burger buns face down and fry for 2 minutes in the bacon fat to brown before setting to one side.
Add 2 tbsp. peanut oil to the frying pan and fry the burgers on both sides for 5-6 minutes.
Place the slices of cheese on top of the burgers until they start to melt.
Build the burger bases with salad leaves, onion rings, bacon, and a burger and drizzle over the sauce.
Top with the other half of the burger bun and serve.
